Nutritional advice is something that comes from family, friends, and nutritionists I have visited. One of the ladies I have learned the most is from Judy whom I call "Mom". She and her husband helped me in a difficult part of my life. They lost a daughter to leukemia cancer and set on a journey for nutritional knowledge. They have tried several things and we always like to hear how things went! After that they advice us on what and what not to do! I specially like the colon cleasing that her husband does faithfully. One day, the family showed me the junk that builds up in the gut. They wanted me to see it with my own eyes! I could not believe! It was gross , gooey, green, brown, and yucky looking! That is they type of stuff that causes health problems! It makes our poor colon get deformed! In my family we have had to obey and follow the nutrional road out of health necessity! Nutrition has been the only answer to be able to live normal lives. Medicines just cover up the problem. Nutrition is the real fuel for body function!
To eat healthy sometimes it takes your gut to accept it! Sometimes is like giving a kid the choice between candy and blueberries, most kids will choose eating candy! Our guts are spoiled with junk! So we have to train them to follow a nutritional path. One way to eat less candy (specially chocolates) is to freeze blueberries and eat them every time there is a sugar craving! Little by little you will desire blueberries more than candy. Specially because you also tell your mind that this is better for healthsake!;) I love Mom's cooking. She cooks the most delicious healthy foods! I love eating her cheesecake in which she only uses stevia as sweetener! That is another gut trainer, learning to like stevia! My sister, husband, and sons do too! I love to visit my sister. She has to eat whole wheat, stevia, and organic dairy, eggs, meat, chicken, and whatever organic else she can buy! So one of the favorite breakfast is pancakes made with whole wheat and yogurt! Yummy to my tummy! I always tell them they should start a restaurant. They are not interested in the least bit. But I get to enjoy real good food when I visit! Specially because I don't like to cook;) But I'm having to make some changes to that hidden in the back of a very deep shelf talent that I may have!
I haven't lived close to my mother since I was sixteen. Living in another country makes you miss and at the same time forget. I have always wanted to eat my mother's cooking again. I have visited her twice in ten 14 years and only savored a couple of her dishes. Recently she came to the USA for 6 months and stayed about a period of two months with me. I was spoiled! She cooked very delicious and nutritious meals. I had forgotten how wonderfully she cooked! She wants to start her own restaurant one day! It will certainly be great if she could. People would certainly be nourished! She is so extra squeeky clean and she loves music so I believe the place would have an excellent atmosphere!
